John O'Gaunt's Bowmen

WELCOME TO JOHN O’GAUNT’S BOWMEN

John O’Gaunt’s Bowmen is a long established Target Archery Club based in the Lancaster / Morecambe area.

It is affiliated to Archery GB (formerly the Grand National Archery Society), the Northern Counties Archery Society and the Lancashire Archery Society.

The club welcomes beginners (Ideally, juniors should be at least 11 years old and must be accompanied by an adult).

Disabled archers are also welcome, and our experienced archers have some experience with a number of disabilities. The club has previously had a visually impaired member and a wheelchair user.

We have a good selection of equipment that can be borrowed / hired, and several experienced archers willing to give tuition.

2025/26 Annual fees including Archery GB insurance from 1st October. https://archerygb.org/clubs/club-guides/member-benefits (Where a membership has already been paid to Archery GB or another county or region please provide your current membership number and deduct the fee as appropriate shown below.)

Aged 21+ = £120 (includes Archery GB £65.00+ LAA £6.00 + NCAS £3.00)

Under 21 = £70 (includes Archery GB £25.00+ LAA £2.00 + NCAS £0.30)

Disabled = £65 (includes Archery GB £25.00+ LAA £4.00 + NCAS £0.30)

We intend the indoor shooting fee (Sept to April approx) to continue, with no change at £4 per adult and £2 for members under 21 years of age. We do not propose to introduce an additional outdoor shooting fee for the coming year but this may be something we have to consider in the future.
